Miguel Guerrero, Designed Living’s Founder & Chairman, started the company in 2006 with a vision to leverage his experience in healthcare management services and workers compensation cost containment to make a more direct difference in the lives of the medically less fortunate.   • Carmen Zurbuchen has over 20 years of experience in workers compensation and private insurance arenas. Carmen graduated from Vanguard with a degree in Business Administration and is a Certified DME Specialist. Her proactive approach to continued education keeps her on the forefront of policies and regulations, allowing her to educate staff on the everchanging systems and requirements needed to ensure accuracy in the delivery of medical equipment and supplies for Designed Living. Carmen is dedicated to providing top tier service to doctors, providers, and patients and goes above and beyond to advocate for all parties. Inspired by her love of God. Her faith is what guides her relationship with friends and family, and those she seeks to help. When not advocating for patients, you can find her volunteering at various entities, providing mentorship to women who are choosing to grow towards a new way of living, or coordinating Skid Row Christmas morning visit with friends and family. Her favorite hobbies include volunteering, fishing, hiking, concerts, and camping.

  • Hi, my name is Alma Lemus-Figueroa, I've been married for 24 years and have 5 kids which include triplets; we stay busy, to say the least. I enjoy beach walks, reading, and cooking with my kids. I received my AS in Health Science in 2013 with an additional focus on medical terminology, patient care, and physiology. Providing Spanish translation services has been a newfound joy that pushes me to improve said skill. Before joining Designed Living I was a contract administrator for an asbestos removal company and prior to that, I worked for the Orange County Health Care Agency and for Housing and Community Development. It is my pleasure to provide translation services to my Designed Living peers and our valued customers.

    Hola, mi nombre es Alma Lemus-Figueroa, soy casada ase 24 anos y tengo 5 hijos que incluye trillizos; nos mantenemos ocupados. Me gusta caminar en la playa, leer, y cocinar con mis hijos. Recibe mi Lincenciado en Ciencias de la Salud en 2013 con enfoque en terminologia medica, cuidado de pacientes, y fisiologia. Proporcionar servicios de traduccion al Español ha sido una nueva alefria queue me empuja a mejorar esa habilidad. Antes de unirme a Designed Living fui Administradora de Contractos para una empresa de eliminacion de asbestos y antes de eso, trabaje para el Condado de Orange en la Agencia de Salud y despues en el Departamento de Desarrollo Comunitario y Vivienda. Es un placer para mi proporcionar servicios de traduccion a mis companeros en Designed Living y a nuestros valiosos clientes.
